Early in the Mourning - an overview

Our game is called Early in the Mourning. Players take on the role of a fire spirit who has appeared for reasons unknown. The villagers you meet are wary, but also excited to see you. Flame spirits are a good omen and are known for bringing warmth and happiness.

In fact, this is exactly what is needed in such a town. The villagers are plagued by terrible weather and feelings of icy sorrow that they can't seem to shake. Some villagers in particular – a woodsman, blacksmith, researcher, and twin leaders – are plagued by inner shadows that they just can't seem to shake. That's where you come in!
